Float by Deisi Float by Deisi
I had more free time today than I've had in months, and it was rainy and nasty, so I sat myself down with my tablet and turned out this.

Inspired by a lot of `loish's work... her underwater scenes and use of colors are so unique and beautiful and I'm always so inpsired by them... however, whenever I try to mimick her colors or compositions, I always end up frustrated, so I didn't reference or copy from any of her works, I just sort of went with the flow.

Photoshop Elements 4.0, Wacom tablet Graphire4, about seven hours, not including sugar-cookie baking time. Texture from www.mayang.com/textures.

It was just a lot of painting with some different layers and brush types to get the glow and shines, and then I put one texture over the whole thing to make the colors contrast a little more and rough it up. I got the texture from www.mayang.com/textures... its a parchment one, I think, I use it on a lot of my pieces.

I love the light reflecting off her well, butt and every thing in the water. :D
The line of the balloon drawing us to her hand is really nice.
