Just got back from ten days of crawling through rainforest in Dominica.
It was amazing. Textures from [link] EDIT: Okay, since some people have asked me, let me tell you a little bit about Dominica. It is not the same thing as the Dominican Republic; it's a little volcanic island in between Martinique and Guadelupe in the Lesser Antilles: [link] Down there on the right. Gorgeous, green, extremely mountainous country. The people there speak English and occasionally French Creole. Some of Pirates of the Caribbean was shot there, such as a lot of the cannibal scenes from the second movie. |
