The Calm Beforeby ~Deisi

Ok, so I felt really bad that I hadn't uploaded anything of interest basically all semester when I had a perfectly good sketch sitting in my sketchbook, so I trucked through the rain to the library to scan this just for you guys.
I would have gotten it up sooner, but my roommate managed to jam her cell phone charger cord in the paper feed of our printer/scanner and so now its kaput.
Anyway, this was inspired by a fun little class I'm taking called Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate, and we were talking about how Buddhist monks drank tea to help them with meditation and whatnot. Thus, Aang made an appearance once again in my sketchbook. This is him probably sitting one morning thinking about all the crap he's going to have to deal with pretty soon.
And gasp! No textures!

There are SO many things I love about this picture! The fact that you took Aang into your own style, his posture is just so natural and fluid, Momo looks adorable! TEA<3 and just GAH THIS WHOLE PHOTO. I LOVE IT. TO PIECES.

Love your art of Aang, he really does look like he's thinking about how he's going save the world ( and maybe even a little bit about him and Katara.lol)I also like how u colored it too~makes me want to have a cup of tea and think the day too
